Update - it is asynchronous so that is good.

This requires that
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Semantic_MediaWiki is
installed. The mediawiki people have been trying for years to get
Semantic_Mediawiki and they have had some success but only in niche
wikis. They still have issues getting large mediawikis converted to
semantic mediawiki which is supposed to be the 'way of the future' .

It seems users can do this so that is also good, the only remaining
piece of the puzzle seems to be there is no listing of absolute number
of article pages and their listing in a tree-like structure.
