[Hamara-devel] minidebconf pune happening in Pune - hamaralinux being the title sponsor.

Dear all,
It gives me great pleasure to announce that minidebconf is again 
happening and is happening in the historic town of Pune.

You can see in2015.minidebconf.org

I have been discussing with Vik about hamara taking an active part in 
minidebconf and I can now share that TBS/Hamara has agreed to be the 
title sponsor.

AFAIK Vik is going to be there but who else would be coming along with 
him is unclear atm. That probably needs to be decided by hamara/TBS.

As hamara is being a sponsor, there also needs to be some marketing 
activity/work that needs to be done from hamara/TBS side. This would be 
in form of flexes, maybe some more work on the themeing side (for e.g. I 
know about the jessie header image bug, maybe that could be worked 
upon), do also something about having some phrase that hamara can 
identify and work with.

As shared with Vikas it needs to embody the distribution, the project 
and OS values.

Ubuntu - Linux for Human Beings
Debian - The Universal Operating System

and others like it.

Sharing an oldie poster as well.

So anything the hamara team could do would be great.

Another thing that hamara/TBS could do is do something like

We could have all sorts of hamara marketing material put up on github or 
some sort of git repo.

Again, we could use how they have done it as an inspiration/guideline at 
least to make sure that all the marketing materials are easily available 
for people to get as well as contribute to.

One another way that Hamara/TBS could go is have the official and open 
use logos and restricted logos as well.

I hope have shared enough to kickstart discussions so that hamara is 
able to position itself properly.

If hamara is investing (as in sponsorship) then hamara marketing, 
positioning needs to be done as well.
