I think you have been shared owncloud links - which doesn't require you 
to have an account.

The client is for using owncloud as your own storage server - so I don't 
think it will help.

Not sure why you are not able to resume - but could be to do with how 
owncloud generates dynamic urls to the files?

If we host the files somewhere else - you will likely have to start the 
download again - but that might be the only option.

Maybe Anant can step in and help with that?
