Hi all,
Sorry for not being able to share much, organizing the conference has
been taking quite some time.
First a bit of bad news - COEP as a venue is no longer available. Some
internal issues at COEP. Can't write more than that, will share when we
meet in-person.
What's done is done hence am looking for alternative venues. There are
two-three software companies who have largish campuses as well as 1-2
educational institutes as well. Hopefully one of those might work out.
Another possibility that we are looking is shifting the dates from 12th
-13th to 19th-20th which is again the week-end. As it is a long week-end
there is much more chances of getting a nice place.
I hope I am able to share something more concrete in a day or two.
I had already informed Anupam as soon as I came to know.
@Raju - Shailendra might connect with you. He is the marketing go-to-guy
in hamara/techblue. Please guide and co-operate with him as you know the
debian culture and well aware about the techblue/hamara culture as well.
Please make sure that none of the marketing material that
techblue/hamara makes is offensive to the purists as well as the
community while at the same time hamara is able to put the message they
want across.
If you need any help in creating content or looking at it by another set
of eyes, feel free to involve me there as well.
One of the more interesting ways you could perhaps work on is use the
GNU/Linux distribution timeline and put hamara there with a bit of focus
on hamara therein.

We could make a really big map adding hamara therein.
There's lots more but keeping it brief atm.
@Raju - Will be sending specific people photos of probable venues as
well in the next few days, hopefully there is one where even we are
comfortable as well as they.
