We have filed an ITP with Debian to get Ubiquity into debian once we get 
it working for us.

When I experimented with the GPG key errors, my builds are failing now. 
Now I have reverted the changes without doing any GPG stuff in there. 
But the builds are still failing.

You have master access to my repo.
I think the lines with GPG has fiddled with the GPG configurations of 
the CHROOT.
If you can just take a look at the GPG issues, it will build 
successfully. I will send the merge request then.

Our build when built successfully will give a working Ubiquity installer 
on the system, which also installs the system with a few hacks.
