I think the discussion should be based around fixed release vs rolling 
release for hamara.

A rolling release approach allows us to upgrade major components like 
gnome in an existing major release version.

A fixed release approach would mean the use of PPA's for current release 
and planning a major update component for the next major release.

Either approach works - but these days rolling releases are getting a 
lot of positive comments.
