It seems mainly a port of lxde from GTK2 to QT - which in the long run 
is a good idea. The question is, do we need it right now?

The current builds of sugam contain LXDE and with some concentrated 
testing and bug fixing we can get to a release pretty quickly.

If we change a core component now, we will introduce extra testing and 
development time - and maybe that factor should be the basis of a decision?
