Hey Guys,
Under the banner of Foss Community India, me and some friends go to
GMRT [1] [2] Every year on 28 Feb & 1 March.
On the Occasion of National Science Day [3] a lot of organizations and
schools take part in the Science Exhibition at GMRT, Pune
We also have a booth there every Year. This exhibition is very popular
among school kids and Local people around the Pune District.
The exhibition has a footfall of over 20,000 people which includes
School Kids, College Students, professionals and other people as well.
On our stall every year we promote Open Source Softwares & hardware’s in
People.
Usually we keep the Following things at the booth.
a] Debian GNU/Linux on one System.
b] Knoppix on one system
c] one Raspberry Pi at the booth attached with a monitor and keyboard mouse.
This year I will be Adding Hamara GNU/Linux to the List as well as a
BeagleBone Black.
I'll also add the Raspberry pi 2(Given to me at HamaraConference) to the
booth this time.
I'll keep some DVDs burned with Hamara and Debian, which I will
distribute with the people.
We also Distribute laptop stickers to the people at the event.
*Can somebody from Hamara Designers team design a Stickers sheet for
hamara*?
I'll get these printed tomorrow.
If you can also design a flex which will list features of Hamara. That
would be awesome. If possible, I'll get these printed as well.
This event will be a great chance to spread awesomeness of Hamara to
more people(and the right ones).
Remember there is only one day left for the Event. If I get the designs
by afternoon,
Then Only I'll be able to print and get them ready for the event day
after tommorow by 28.
Thanks,
Raju
