Just putting these few issues here in case anyone has time to help
debugging / fixing them. I would be happy to release a pre-alpha at the
point the iso is installable.
To get there we need to close off at least:
1. Raju reported that the window and mouse pointers are behaving strangely
There seems to be a problem with the openbox window manager running in
the live instance.
If you manually run openbox --replace in a terminal - then things look
much better!
2. The iso should be installable
Currently debian installer fails to run if you click the desktop link.
Running is on the command line shows that it complains about not being
able to find a valid initrd.
I am debugging this atm.
3. Some light branding touches
Grub screen, plymouth and desktop background would do!
I may get all of this done myself - but it anyone want to help - please
let me know.
