Dear Jonas,

Wished you had shared this before, wouldn't have had to write my piece 
about it. I also had the same feelings while attempting to collaborate 
with him for some simple things both on-list and off-list but can't 
question his dedication for the projects/packages that involved him (or 
were maintained by him).

Slightly unrelated and yet related, what has been interesting though is 
Cyril taking an active interest on pushing a new d-i (at least once 
every month) whereas before it used to be 6 months to a year when you 
would see a new version and not a lot of change as had to keep everybody 
happy. I did read the syslinux debacle at the time it happened and quite 
a part of it was clearly Daniel's fault.
