Hi all,

Was wondering if we could have some better boot-loader images for grub2 
in hamara.

Came to number of different interesting links.

Although the best I found so far are these -

Even though the information given is 2 years old, it shares that there 
is much that can be done from a design perspective.

Of course, this will change as the idea upstream is to have the 
boot-loader fully CSS-compliant so it's easier to design nicer 
boot-loader images, animations etc.

See the bit about Fancy menu interface, it just needs people who are 
willing to work on it.

The only problem is grub is and has been a beta product for a long long 
time.

According to the changelog, most of the work seems to be done by a 
certain Vladimir Serbinenko.

There is grub customizer also which could help but probably under 
GPLv2/3 + contributions

So there's lot of possibility of playing with the looks on the 
boot-loader stage itself.
