Hi all,

I am on the Gcompris mailing list as well. There is a new 0.50 release
which hopefully will be released soonish. I have been seeing quite a few
Indian students who have contributed and who want to contribute on that.

In the upcoming new release -

By Siddhesh Suthar (part of GSoC): lang
By Pulkit Gupta: paintings
Sagar Chand Agarwal (part of GSoC): renewable_energy, watercycle
By Rajdeep Kaur : hangman

Overall 355 commits and 12 new activities have been added, apart from
above -

By Bruno : chess, chess_2players, chess_partyend, melody
By Johnny Jazeix, readingh, readingv

The last count was 140-141 activities so this would take it beyond 150.

I am just waiting for it to be packaged by the Debian Maintainer and see
wherever I can see new art sprites/images .

There have been quite a few students who are again knocking the door for
activities even though GSOC 2016 hasn't been announced and Gcompris
would be selected this time also is not known.

Still good to see that.
