Above seems to be about difficulty of mastering the art of packaging.

Recent Debian thread was about size of metadata.
Reducing size of metadata may likely reduce its complexity - but not its
difficulty.
E=mc² is small in size and simple in structre, yet difficult to master.

Sorry, I lost your point in the wealth of information you provided.
What is the proposal, more concretely? Package metadata size reduction,
or something else related to _easing_ packaging?
