Hi all,

Had been having issues while trying to log on oftc.net via tor and hence 
had written a mail about it some days back.

This is their response.

"we had serious spamming coming in over Tor and had to disable it
because there was no other way to keep the annoyance out.
Unfortunately the block is still in place because none of the
operators had time yet to reactivate it and be around to shut the door
again if the kiddies are still there. Sorry.

The "infected" message you are seeing is an artifact of another
anti-spam trap someone had triggered over Tor and is not specific to
you.

I'll see if I can reactivate Tor tomorrow.

We are working on a mechanism that will enable registered users to
connect even when general Tor access is disabled. Stay tuned... " -

So the only workaround is to use IRC without tor and do whatever without 
tor, because once your real IP is known to the target whatever we do 
over tor is meaningless for that session.
