Hi all,

Hey Jonas, good to see you here :)

While I haven't tracked LXDE, QT I know has been changing quite a bit
along with KDE, QT5 and KDE5 has been having lots of updates. Also with
the recentish rise in numbers in the QT/KDE team they seem to have a
good thing happening.

AFAIK the idea of LXDE ties in with using it on Pi Model B to be used
for sharing content, education etc.

Unless they really bloat it to full-featured Desktop Environments like
KDE/GNOME we would be safe and then again I don't think there is a
dearth of light desktop environments.

There is openbox, icewm, fluxbox and fvwm-crystal to name a few. How
good/bad the development is, how they are funding it and how much
community-focused they are would be something that would need to be
looked at.

Thank you bringing it to the light though as haven't been tracking LXDE,
now fixed :)

Look forward to see you when you are here in India :)
