Dear all,
As we are deciding to have Gnome 3.18 in Hamara's next gnome version,
I am looking at the accessibility of the said desktop.
I have tryed 3.16 and currently using it full time.
It works close to be excelent.
Just the notifications are inconsistently announced and I don't get
details on a few items in the top panel.
Such as wifi access points, where only the names of the wifi networks
are announced but not their strength or secured/ unsecured status.
I am in Communication with the Orca team, which is relatively
experienced and have been told that the notifications problem is solved.
Seeing that I will be making more fine tuned accessibility settings when
we start working on the gnome version.
Secondly, I think we must take some eferts to build good quality Indian
voices, including Indian English so that Hamara becomes truely Indian in
all aspects.
Happy hacking.
Krishnakant.
