I am hitting a further (new) issue now when running iso builds. 
deboostrap completes successfully but creating the squashfs fails:

> Parallel mksquashfs: Using 4 processors
> Creating 4.0 filesystem on master/live/filesystem.squashfs, block size 131072.

I found this reference to a similar error which suggests a problem 
accessing the chroot:

Will check out if that's what is causing this.
