Amar and myself spent time on this yesterday. Most of these issues are 
being caused by the inclusion of Xenial repositories that we are using 
to pull in Ubiquity.

On balance, we have come to the conclusion that including those 
repositories as a simple path to pull in Ubiquity doesn't really work 
and we're wasting quite a lot of time trying to make it fit.

We are going to proceed now with building source packages and 
dependencies from Xenial and trying to include those in our repository. 
Let's see how that goes!
