Dear all,
I have spoken with the orca devs and it seems Gnome 3.18 has off late
got most of the accessibility bugs fixed.
But what is more exciting is that I personally tested the Mate desktop
and it being an environment consuming low memory, was amazed at the
level of accessibility improvements.
In fact in some cases it was even better than Gnome.
My question is, are we also going to plan a Mate release any time.
Since it will be some thing right from scratch, our organization can put
in some resources along with Gnome release (which we have already
planned to start working on when we release a stable versio of Sugam ).
All in all accessibility seems to have taken a serious pickup these last
few weeks.
happy hacking.
Krishnakant.
