They have a monthly release cycle. Are you planning to update your
instance every month? If not, you'll easily fall behind the latest every
month.
We are always working to package the latest version See
https://gitlab.com/debian-ruby/TaskTracker/issues/92 for status on
update to 8.5. Now that 8.6 is out, we can target updating to 8.6.
Anyway consider this for next update as we have to fix
https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/issues/14450 anyway.
