Hello all,
To determine how many helpers we will require to build ubiquity, I built
the debs of all Ubiquity dependencies and there sub dependencies on a
Debian stretch chroot.
I also installed each of these dependencies. All of them except
xkb-data-i18n got successfully installed without any issues.
We need to resolve the issues with xkb-data-i18n. When trying to
install. it conflicts with the xkb-data-i18n package already installed
with debian repos. .
I have uploaded all these packages here
https://git.hamaralinux.org/libregeekingkid/ubiquity-packaging
I have also attached the dependency graph with this mail. This graph
only consists of packages which are not in Debian repos.
As per the graph we need to build a total of 10 new helper files to get
these packages in our repos and then building ubiquity won't be an issue.
Saagar is preparing a much better dependency graph, which will be
updated to the repos.
I am moving on to writing helper files to get these individual packages
in our repos.
