You just need to make the changes in the meta package and issue a merge 
request.

Currently the packages are build using helper scripts - following the 
model used by Gnewsense and Trisquel - as we we're
previously based on Ubuntu.

The distro is pulled together using the makeiso script - this will look 
at your meta and pull in the required packages to create an iso.

Saagar will be joining the project next week and will be documenting the 
whole process so that it's much easier for people to contribute.
