unstable does not mean the software is of bad quality. It just means we did not get time to test it. A software added to unstable will become part of testing and part of next stable.

It can be added to stable backports officially.

It becomes easier for users when they can use the same tools to manage gnukhata like they do for every other software like firefox, gnote or mplayer.
