Hi all,
I don't know how many of us know of debian-kernel-handbook. This
is the place to go to find how debian makes it kernel and what all
goes into it.

There is an old version which is in debian archive :-

[$] aptitude show

Description: reference to Debian Linux kernel packages and
development
A reference manual for:

* Working on the linux package
* Building custom kernels and modules
* Working with initramfs images
* Kernel team policies

And a slightly newer version at
https://kernel-handbook.alioth.debian.org/ - notice the difference
in the kernel version strings.

Anyways, as part to show contribution from hamaralinux reported
the bug https://bugs.debian.org/782784 .

What was interesting is that bug took over an hour to get
registered on the Debian BTS. I was intrigued as on the
@gmail.com address such mails take not more than 2 minutes to show
up on the Debian BTS. I was in half a mind to put a bug in
bugzilla as usually either the mail will reach or bounce-back
saying something or the other is broken (in sense similar to the
ping program I had shared few days ago ) . So after an hour when
it did show up on the BTS I did a bit of research and this is what
I was able to find.

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=5;bug=782784

If you are trying to figure out how that page came, it's link from
full text on the right hand side where it says Message 5.

If you look and study the log you will see the second last line
which says :-

X-Greylist: delayed 3934 seconds by postgrey-1.34 at buxtehude;
Fri, 17 Apr 2015 20:06:53 UTC

And of-course if we were to divide 3934 seconds by 60 seconds we
would get the grand total of 65.56^ minutes which is the
difference of the time I put up the bug and it was white-listed. I
will certainly do couple of more bug-reports to see if the time
count goes down or not.

Of course, as can be seen in the log, there are other interesting
bits which do catch the eye as well.

Anyways, enough for now. Gotta sleep and then try to catch some
virtual bugs early morning :)
