<font face="Century Schoolbook L">Hi all, <br>
I was looking for a way to show videos from within mediawiki but
couldn't find a straight way, as everything else, it needs an
extension to do that. <br>
<br>
See <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:EmbedVideo">https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:EmbedVideo</a> <br>
<br>
The bonus is that we get support of 24 sites at one go. <br>
<br>
If we had this, then the net neutrality page would have shined.
Another way to do that is to make a channel in Youtube channel in
HamaraLinux and make 'Collections' therein. So we could simply
add all the video links within there and just share the list link
on the wiki. <br>
<br>
Another way would be to make collections of whatever net
neutrality videos are there and have those collections under
hamaralinux.org banner. See
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://www.youtube.com/user/TheLinuxFoundation/videos">https://www.youtube.com/user/TheLinuxFoundation/videos</a> as an
example. The benefit would be that there would be a presence on
the top 5 video-sharing sites and as and when we publish
videos/screencasts etc. done on hamara/for hamara and want to
distribute, all of the infrastructure is already ready to be
used. The only downer is that the channel page (per-site) might
need some sprucing up with hamara's branding. <br>
<br>
Looking forward to feedback.<br>
