I don't see any Conflicts (or Breaks or Replaces) defined there for
xkb-data-i18n. Please share the log when you try to install xkb-data-i18n

Seems that the packages are potentially the same but named
differently.<br>

In your helper, I think you should patch the control file and
replace xkb-data-i18n with xkb-data<br>
<br>
That *should* work.<br>
