I can asure you that there is no distro wich such a
section to the best of my knowledge.
In addition GNUKhata is already on it's way to have
              inventory.
So we can pitch Hamara as the true Indian distro with even
              software for indian accounting system.
I am not sure if we should include this category in hamara
sugam - I think we should add this to the full blown hamara
            release.

Once we get the sugam basics in order, we will open up
development on the next hamara release - but based on Debian
            this time.

Not a bad idea.
By that time you will also have GNUKhata with Inventory.
Meanwhile we can always have people install GNUKhata on Sugam.
happy hacking.
What's the plan with having it packaged for Debian? That would
make is simple to pull into Sugam

GNUKhata is very stable and accountants have liked it a lot.
So one problem with packaging for Debian is that they will still
put in testing or unstable, which is a bad thing for GNUKhata
      given it's stability.
Other than that I don't see any reason why it should not be
packaged for Debian or any distro for that matter.
May be we can do some PPA which users can add and then install in
Debian or even Hamara or Ubuntu etc.
But in any case it will be a good idea to package it for Debian.

We're basing on Debian Testing anyhow - so if it's in there it's in
hamara too. Suggest we focus on getting it into Debian Testing?
