In MOSS I see quite a few programs that we ourselves use -

1. Debian
2. Git
3. Linux (goes without saying but still as mentioned as part of Firefox OS)
4. Mailman
5. Mediawiki
6. Wordpress

And probably some more that I don't know the back-end/infrastructure.

For instance, I am sure we would be using some memory allocation library 
but whether it is jemalloc or some similar library that I don't know.

Might be a good idea to checkout some of the other softwares which are 
also listed in MOSS which might be useful to us.

Lastly, that reminds me that #131 is still outstanding -
